For sale I have a lovely piece of hand blown art glass made by The Fenton Glass Company of Williamstown, West Virginia. The shape is a tapered should form with raised neck. The vase has some size to it as it stands 9 3/16" tall and is 4 3/8" in diameter at the shoulder. The top opening is 3" inside diameter and 3 1/2" outside diameter. The foot has a diameter of 3 1/2".

The vase has a mat cobalt blue base with a whimsical floral art nouveau 2 repeat pattern separated by iridescent silvery gold drapes. This technique is known as Favrene and was Fenton's version of Steuben's Blue Aurene and Tiffany's Favrile style of art glass. The drapes separate the two panels in such a way that they appeared to be pinned at the shoulder of the vessel. They hang from pointed peaks and drape to the ground only to rise up to a mock stem adorned by hand painted wide leaves, heart shaped buds, and lovely plump blossoms in all of their glory. All of the flower and leaf pattern is a gold iridescence with hand painted accents to accentuate it. It is finished by an iridescent blue collar at the top of the shoulder and the beneath the elongated vertical neck.

The vase is considered to be in excellent condition as there are no cracks, chips, nicks or dings. The piece is signed "hand painted by Pam Fleak" and also has the limited edition #265/350 painted as well. There were only 350 of this pattern ever made. There is also an "F" in a circle above the signature for Fenton Art Glass. This piece was made circa 1991-2011.

Favrene was one of Fenton's finer and more expensive lines of hand blown art glass.
