For sale is a lovely gold iridescent vase made by Tiffany Studios, New York, NY. The vase is a nice cabinet size as it 6 5/8" tall and is 4 1/4" in diameter at the shoulder. The foot has a diameter of 2 3/8". The top of the vase has a very small diameter at 1 1/2" outside measurement.

The vase displays a classic Greek urn with a round foot. It is further decorated with 2 gold handles that are applied to the shoulder of the vessel at opposite sides. These handles are in the shape of a scroll and are very delicate in appearance and touch. The neck of the vase rises up from the should and flares out slightly. The gold iridescence is about as good as it gets. The brilliant gold iridescence looks like real gold. The strong fuchsia hues surrounding the shoulder is just as outstanding.

The vase is considered to be in excellent condition as there are no cracks, nicks, chips or dings. The scroll handles have some wear on the top of the handles but other than this there are no excuses to be made. The vase is signed on the bottom with an etched signature that reads "L.C. Tiffany-Favrile" and the number '2055 K " just to the right. We can date this vase based on the suffix letter "K".

Those of you who collect Tiffany Gold Favrile vases and want a nice example in excellent condition, look no further. This vase would be a wonderful addition to your collection. The suffix letter "K" dates this vase to have been made circa 1916.
