For sale is a very nice piece of arts and crafts style art pottery made by The Weller Pottery Company of Zanesville, Ohio. This adorable pot is done in Weller's highly sought after Bedford Matt Green glaze. I would consider this a footed, square, embossed panel jardiniere. This is a very nice cabinet size as it stands 4 1/8" tall and is 4 3/4" in diameter, diagonal measurements.

This adorable pot has a very deep rich matte green glaze. It displays four embossed or raised "Cherry and Leaf" clusters. The form is tapered and the panels are curved with a strong arts and crafts influence. The vase sits on 4 feet and has a painted blue green bottom. The four feet lift this pot off the ground and gives it a little bit of height.

This piece is considered to be in excellent condition as there are no cracks, nicks, chips or dings. It has a glaze miss along the bottom edge of one of the panels and this is pictured. It has an inclusion on one of the leaves and it is glazed over by the factory. The piece is unsigned but it has a blue green painted bottom. This is the trade mark of Weller's Bedford Matt Green Line. This is just as good as a signature. Those of you who collect matte green with Arts and Crafts influence will surely welcome this pot into your collection. It works great in any Mission, Arts & Crafts style decor. It will look wonderful on that Stickley bookcase. This piece was made Circa 1915-1920.
