For sale is a lovely piece of art glass made by Tiffany Studios of New York, New York. The item is a "Gold Favrile Stemmed Cordial" and it is done in the very desirable Gold Favrile style of art glass. The cordial stands 5 3/8" tall and the cup is 2" in diameter outside measurement. The bottom foot has a diameter of 2".

The cordial displays a very nice Gold Favrile Aurene iridescence with hues of gold and platinum blues with some fuchsia. The cordial sits on a very slender stem that rises up from a flat round foot. The stem is very thin and rises up to a small bell shaped drinking vessel. The foot and the top of the cordial have a wonderful rolled and fire polished edge. This piece of art glass is so delicate that it is amazing that it has survived over 100 years without damage.

This stemmed cordial is considered to be in excellent condition as there are no cracks, nicks, chips or dings. The piece is signed on the bottom with the etched "L.C.T. Favrile" cipher mark for "Louis Comfort Tiffany" and there is also the numbers "1631". These cordials are rather hard to find with no damage as they are very delicate. This one is about as good as they get. I'm sure the buyer will be delighted with their purchase.

This Stemmed Cordial was made Circa 1900-1920.
