For sale is a lovely gold iridescent vase made by Tiffany Studios, New York, NY. The vase is a nice cabinet size as it 3 1/8" tall and is 2 7/8" in diameter.

The vase displays a squat tapered swollen form with applied threading around the middle. The vase has a strong deep platinum blue on gold iridescence with fuchsia highlights along the top and bottom of the vessel. The vase has 7 rows of applied threading that shows a deep blue iridescence. The vase has good weight because of the swollen bottom. This may also be part of Tiffany's "Flemish" line as I have had several liqueurs over time with this same threading.

The vase is considered to be in excellent condition as there are no cracks, nicks, chips or dings. None of the threads have NO nicks including flea nicks. There is minimal wear along the underside bottom. Looking inside you can see where some of the fuming is and a cloudy inclusion. This is probably carbon trapped in the glass. This can be seen in picture 2 at 5:00. The vase is signed on the bottom with an etched number "05259". There was probably a round paper label at one time as well and simply came off over time. Those of you who collect Tiffany Gold Favrile vase and want a unique example in excellent condition, look no further. This vase will be a wonderful addition to your collection. The 5 digit number denotes this as a very early piece blown in he beginning years and dates this vase to have been made circa 1892-1894.
