Very rare large 14" tall and wonderful Mettlach/Villeroy and Boch Etched Matte Vase! There are four panels in white encircling this stunning art nouveau vase which was purchased from Germany some years ago. Marked on the bottom is the castle, and the word Mattlach on a sign. Under those markings are the VB (Villeroy and Boch) lettering. Ges Gesch then US Pat OFF MADE IN GERMANY, the model #2915, under that to left is a 9 and to the right is a 10. I believe this vase was made in 1910. It is in factory perfect condition with some pinholes. We have an entire collection of this pattern both utilitarian and decorative.
